What changed in Zona

Releases with in-app release notes, newest first, in the same words the app uses on its What's New screen. The update marked In testing is still in TestFlight, so its notes are not in the app yet. For the sender API contract, see the API reference.

New app versions ship as TestFlight preview builds for now; smaller compatible updates can also arrive inside the app.

Coming to the App Store
  1. Right at home on iPhone

Next update, September 2026, In testing

Zona now looks and moves like the rest of your iPhone, shows urgency at a glance, and lets you shape the inbox around what matters.

    • Feels like part of your iPhone

The tab bar, headers and sheets use Liquid Glass on iOS 26 and later, where search opens from the toolbar, and it all follows the light or dark theme you pick.

    • Urgency at a glance

A coloured ring around an alert’s source pulses while the alert is unread, faster the more urgent it is, and holds still once you have read it. The ring is thicker for higher levels, so the level still shows with Reduce Motion on.

    • Filter the inbox your way

Open Filters from the toolbar to pick several sources and severities at once, narrow to unread, pinned or recent alerts, and save it as a filter for next time. Zona looks further back when few alerts match.

    • Repeats fold together

The same alert sent again stacks into one tidy thread; expand it to see every repeat and open any of them.

    • New alerts while Zona is open

A banner drops in at the top of the screen when an alert arrives, and several at once combine into one. It respects quiet hours and hidden previews, and you can turn it off in Settings.

    • Calmer to move around

Tabs fade in gently, large titles share a row with their buttons and tuck into the bar as you scroll, and you can now pull down to refresh Settings too.

    • Terms and help, built in

Read the full Terms of Use without leaving Zona, open help and legal pages in an in-app browser, and reach support at the right email address.

  2. More in one alert

    v0.0.12, August 2026, Latest

Send several pictures with an alert, enjoy smoother screens, and keep removed sign-in methods gone.

    • Several pictures in one alert

Send up to five photos with an alert, then swipe through them in the inbox.

    • Smoother to use

Sign-in, menus, and typing feel more natural, so you can stay with the alert instead of fighting the screen.

    • Removed sign-in methods stay removed

Unlink a sign-in method and it can no longer open your Zona. Change your mind? Add it back from a method you still trust.

  3. Your inbox is ready when you are

    v0.0.7, July 2026

Open Zona and your recent alerts are already waiting—even when the connection isn’t.

    • Open and get moving

Your recent alerts appear right away, so you can act without waiting on a loading screen.

    • Still useful offline

Read recent alerts between connections, then let Zona quietly catch up when you’re back online.

    • Saved only for you

Your saved inbox stays separate from every other account and disappears from the phone when you sign out.

    • You decide what stays

See how much space Zona uses and clear saved content anytime from Settings.

  4. Zona fits the way you work

    v0.0.6, July 2026

Helpful notices arrive at the right moment, while the controls you count on stay close at hand.

    • Clearer guidance when it matters

Zona can share timely service notices and point you toward an update when one is important.

    • A steadier everyday experience

Quiet improvements keep your inbox and essential controls feeling dependable.

  5. Your notifications got more personal

    v0.0.2, July 2026

Pick a language, give each source its own voice, and keep an eye on things without opening the app.

    • Hello, 你好

Use Zona in English or Hong Kong Traditional Chinese.

    • A glance is enough

Live Status can keep unread activity on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island while Zona is running.

    • Give every source a voice

Choose a different notification sound for each computer or app, then preview it with one tap.

    • Less waiting, more doing

Zona opens and refreshes faster, so your latest alerts appear sooner.

    • Upload photos

Notifications can include images, with a full-screen viewer that supports pinch to zoom.

  6. Where it all began

    v0.0.1, July 2026

One quiet home for notifications from every PC and local app you care about.

    • Every PC is welcome

Connect multiple computers and always see exactly which source sent each notification.

    • A tidy seven-day inbox

Filter by source, unread state, or the last 24 hours—and clear the noise when you are done.

    • Keys you control

Each source gets its own private access key, so it can be paused or revoked without disturbing the others.
